Day 2: Bangkok – City Tour

Begin the journey by unravelling the glorious history of the Capital of Thailand with its highlights :

  • The Grand Royal Palace complex which includes the Royal Palace and the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew (known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha).
  • Wat Pho,
  • Wat Traimitr (Temple of the Golden Buddha),
  • Board a long-tail boat for a ride along the klongs, the traditional canals that weave through old Bangkok, offering a glimpse of the city’s unique atmosphere.
  • Visit the striking Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun, designed in the Khmer style.

Day 3: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi

Immerse yourself in the colourful atmosphere of the lively railway and floating markets:

  • Depart early in the morning to visit the Maeklong Railway Market,
  • Head to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.
  • Witness the vibrant spectacle of this colorful market where farmers still trade fruits and vegetables from their small boats.
  • Accessed by boat through the klongs, navigate past stilt houses.
  • Head to Kanchanaburi, visit World War II sites, including the JEATH War Museum, the cemetery, and the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai.
  • Enjoy a historic train ride along the remaining section of the “Death Railway.”

Day 4: Kanchanaburi - Erawan National Park - Ayutthaya

  • Depart for Erawan National Park, located 65 km from Kanchanaburi.
  • Visit the stunning Erawan Waterfalls
  • Enjoy a relaxing swim in the natural pools.
  • Departure for Ayutthaya, known as the “Venice of the East”, is home to numerous monuments and historical ruins.

Day 5: Ayutthaya - Visit - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai

  • Visit Wat Mahathat,
  • Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace,
  • Head towards Sukhothai via Phitsanulok.
  • Stop in Phitsanulok to explore Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat,
  • Continue to Sukhothai.

Day 6: Sukhothai - Lampang

260 km – 4h

  • Transfer to the bike parking area to start a cycling tour of Sukhothai Historical Park, home to nearly 200 remarkably preserved ruins.
  • Visit to the Ajana Buddha image at Wat Sri Chum,
  • Continue cycling to Wat Phra Pai Luang, the former community center before the establishment of the Sukhothai Kingdom, followed by visits to Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sra Sri, and Wat Trapang Ngoen.
  • Transfer by car to Lampang.

A 1.5 – hour drive through beautiful green landscapes leads to Mae Kampong village.

Upon arrival, take a walk through the forest to explore the local coffee and tea farming industry, finishing at a beautiful waterfall.

After the walk, relax with a rejuvenating Thai massage.

Day 14: Village De Mae Kampong – Chiang Mai - FLIGHT - Bangkok - Departure

Early in the morning at 7:00 AM, offer alms to the monks at the village temple with your host.

Take a walk through the community to see local hat – making, bamboo furniture crafting, plant – based products, and the fermentation process of old tea leaves.

Visit the San Kampaeng hot spring to observe water reaching 100°C from underground.

Return to Chiang Mai around noon (1 – hour drive).

Transfer by private car with driver to the airport of Bangkok for your flight to Bangkok, connectting to your international departure flight.
