  • Visa requirements: You can get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at major entry points, valid for 30 days, or apply for an E-Visa online. Citizens of ASEAN countries enjoy visa-free entry for 14–30 days. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months and carry USD cash for visa fees. For more details.
  • Pack light and breathable clothing: With high temperatures, it’s essential to wear comfortable, lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen.

  • Book accommodations in advance: March is a popular time for tourists, so securing hotel reservations early is recommended, especially in major tourist areas like Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng.

We just had a northern Vietnam tour with Hanoi Voyages, touring Van Ho, Pu Luong, Ninh Binh, we had a superb time. Sophie c/o with Hanoi Voyages was so helpful, gave us so many valuable advice and make sure everything goes smoothly from the beginning of the planning till we return to our home country. The driver Mr Dong, the guide Mr Quach Tan (also guide from minority village) are amazing. We cant wait to visit Vietnam again with them.

I wanted to travel to Halong Bay, Vietnam and the major attractions in Thailand and looked to find a competent travel agency to plan and execute the trip. Hanoi voyages was what my top choice from my research. End to end they customized my trip based on my unique requirements and helped with travel, tourist guides and accommodations. The hotels were really good in each of the four cities I stayed in and the guides took care of me extremely well. The trip went off without a glitch, thanks to Hanoi voyages. I would strongly recommend them for anyone from the US traveling to Vietnam and Thailand.
